Elite Training with Jess Hill is an advanced-level circus and aerial programme for committed dance students who want to take their skills further.
It focuses on strength, technique, flexibility, and performance development - with expert coaching and small group support.
No, this is a training programme, not the performing team.
Elite Training students work to learn the skills required and may be invited to audition for the Elite Squad at the end of the next term if they show readiness, commitment and progress.
It’s the perfect stepping stone towards the performing team but this is not the end goal. The end goal is for these talented dancers to learn even more aerial hoop, silks and acro skills.
Elite Training is open to students who already attend dance or gymnastic classes and show good focus, strength, and enthusiasm.
If you’re unsure whether your child is at the right level, we can accept video auditions for this.
Training takes place at FPS Fitness, Yardley Wood, Birmingham once a month between January and June 2026, generally the 2nd Sunday of the month.
Each session is a full day of intensive training with different focus areas such as aerial hoop, silks, acro, and performance skills.
Each session covers:
Advanced aerial and acro progressions
Strength and flexibility training
Performance technique and artistry
Teaching from professional circus coaches
Goal setting and personal feedback
No, this is purely training-based to allow full focus on technical growth.
However, students will have opportunities to demonstrate progress and may be invited to audition for the Elite Squad at the end of the programme.
The total cost is £50 per session. You can pay 6 months upfront by the end of Oct to receive a 10% discount or pay £50 now to secure your child's space for January and continue to pay £50 per month on a DD.
Spaces are strictly limited, and your deposit confirms your child’s spot for the term.
Please let us know as early as possible. We can’t offer refunds for missed sessions, but we’ll share any key material or progress notes so they can stay on track.
Weekly classes teach core skills - Elite Training dives deeper.
Students get longer, focused sessions, individual feedback, and the chance to train alongside others who are just as dedicated and passionate
