Hello! I’m Jess, better known as Jolly Jess, and I'm the founder of Showtime Circus. Thank you so much for being here and for your interest in bringing the circus to your town. Many people who find themselves here didn't even know the question, never mind that the answer was circus!
When I started Showtime Circus, it was intended to be a side hustle in addition to all of my performing jobs. I was a West End performer, world travelling circus artists and children's entertainer, I even did lookalike and tribute act work as Katy Perry! I knew I needed stability between performing jobs and I adored working with children. I'd acquired many a random skill on my journey performing around the world a circus and realised that a circus school would be pretty fun, and different to what was on offer in my local area!

Circus Syllabus
When you join our network, you and your teachers receive CPD accredited training to deliver the signature Showtime Circus Syllabus, an incredible, profitable way to introduce budding circus stars to a huge range of different circus skills in weekly classes. Franchisors are encouraged to split payments for these over twelve monthly payments meaning that straight away, you are creating a sustainable, predictable income!
The weekly classes on offer range from Circus Squidges (babies!) right up to adults meaning that you will always have a consistent flow of families coming through your doors.
The average life span of a circus student is just under three years, so we know we are doing something right!
Deliver a huge range of circus services to your local community.
Weekly classes form your "bread an butter" but you can also add in a HUGE range of activities for your community, from holiday camps and birthday parties to community events and even elite level performance opportunities, Showtime Circus opens doors for people at every stage of their circus journey.
Hands-On Circus Workshops
Equipped with a fully mobile set up, you are able to set up anywhere and deliver high quality workshops locally at schools, brownies, cubs and more. These ca range from £150 for a one hour ground based workshop to over £1500 for a full day ultimate workshop!
Birthday Parties
With a huge range of packages to suit any budget and age, our birthday parties are an incredible way to increase your revenue and attract more children to your weekly classes. Again, these can range in price from £200 for a simple party to £900 for an ultimate party. All parties are encouraged to be 2 hours long with 20/30 mins at the end for food! We have specific party plans during training so your teachers know what to expect and how to deliver!
Holiday Camps
Our holiday camps can be funded by the government and are a fantastic way to start your circus school by building your client base and spreading the word about how incredible showtime circus is! You can gain accreditation to deliver via programmes in your region, become Ofsted registered and receive holiday vouchers, or just provide the highest quality, most fun activity ever so children keep coming back. The average price for a child to join a holiday camp per day is £40. We usually have at least 20 children per day with some centres running 5 days with 50 children each day at £50 each child! As you can see, holiday camps become a huge way to increase revenue, PLUS they are the most fun too!

Do you need to have experience in circus?
No. Our teacher training leads you through our specifically curated syllabus so that you can be up and running in no time. You will need to either learn yourself or have teachers who walk themselves through the whole online library of videos so you have enough material to stay ahead of the children.
What do you get with your franchise?
The franchise package includes everything needed to set up and run your whole Showtime Circus franchise. From all of the equipment and safety gear to marketing know how, an exclusive territory, web page and email and more.
How many teachers can you train?
You are able to put as many teachers through our training as you like, meaning that your earning potential in uncapped.
What can I teach?
Our training will guide you through teaching weekly classes, parties, holiday camps and workshops as well as after school club, pre school classes and more.
How much is a franchise?
A franchise is £9995 including ALL equipment, training and back end support to get you set up and running.
How long is the agreement?
Our franchise agreements are 5 years.
